Racial Equity Support Initiative
Our team at The Road Less Traveled Counseling Center humbly recognizes the responsibility we have as therapists, consultants, and trainers. We are committed to anti-racist, anti-oppression, and social justice work, both personally and professionally; to a culturally affirming and responsive approach in our work with clients, consultees, and training participants; to advancing justice and equity for all intersectional identities; to increasing awareness of our own biases; and to dismantling systemic oppression.

We are invested in increasing diversity within our own training team and in leadership within the wider EMDR community, including EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, and EMDRIA-Approved Training Provider roles. Learn about EMDRIA's Racial Equality Support Initiative (RESI), within which we are proud participants.

Many mental health therapists experience inequitable employment and compensation that make it challenging to afford EMDR trainings. Apply here for a partial training scholarship and email us at EMDR@TheRoadLessTraveledCounseling.com to find out about cohort dates with remaining scholarships available. Priority is given to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, disabled, and other minoritized clinicians. Contact us to learn about our group discounts if you are part of a community mental or behavioral health organization, or a student in a graduate mental health program.

If you're interested, you may contribute HERE to our Partial Scholarship Donation Fund, which provides partial EMDR training scholarships to clinicians with marginalized identities and those who work with underserved or never-served populations.
