I am seeking a skilled, mature, attachment-oriented and trauma-informed Licensed Therapist to join The Road Less Traveled Counseling Center as a 1099 Independent Contract Therapist for a caseload of 10-20+ clients per week. The ideal candidate has a desire for the independence of private practice and a community of other healing practitioners without the hassle of marketing, scheduling, and seeking out clients. Specific skills and qualifications include:

· Licensed, skilled and experienced therapist

· EMDR and EFT trained (certification in either/both a bonus but not required)

· Passionate about EMDR and working with couples from an attachment lens

· Strength-based

· Investment in lifelong learning, personal growth, community, and the creation of an inclusive and culturally responsive space for clients

· Mature, grounded and professional

· Independent and responsible

I am a Licensed Psychologist, EMDRIA-Approved Consultant and Training Provider, and Certified EMDR Therapist. I am also an AEDP and EFT therapist, practicing from an attachment-oriented, experiential, relational, and parts work lens. I have been in a thriving private practice since 2009, in community with other contract therapists since 2016, and in collaboration with the Denver Collaborative Health Center since 2013. The focus of our practice includes trauma treatment from an EMDR and attachment-oriented perspective, couples therapy from an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy approach, as well as supervision, consultation, and training. Given that we consistently have referrals for EMDR therapy and couples counseling and our clinicians are regularly full, we are hoping to have another Contract Therapist join our group.

The Road Less Traveled Counseling Center would provide a beautiful, furnished office in a gorgeous and centrally located historic mansion in Denver, Colorado with a waiting room, free street and alley parking, and wonderful colleagues, along with an electronic medical records system with online calendar and payment processing software. Payment would be commensurate with the number of clients you see, with the opportunity for bonuses and funds toward ongoing learning. There may also be an opportunity to participate in consultation toward certification as an EMDRIA-Approved Certified Therapist or Approved Consultant, and/or to participate in EMDR training support.
